First off, I'm going to rank on my title, "A Thought to Chew On." I have used that SO many times in different types of journals over the website, one would think that I would get tired of using such a bland title. Well I say "Not Yet!" I'll use this title 'til I find a better suited title.

Now on to the real thought to chew on: The '08 Election.
I really don't care about who won, I would've said congratz to both McCain or Obama. There is one things that one of my friends, a McCain supporter, had said that I find really offensive. He said that one reason that he doesn't like Obama because he supporte gay people. Many people would agree with my friend and say that homosexuality is a sin. Just saying that really upsetted me to think that gay people can have rights because your religion says it's a sin. For my friend I wish I had said - instead of gaping at him in shock - that he is free to think whatever he wants, but! please do not think that gay people are inhuman and don't deserve the same rights that every human has.

Just to let everyone know, I still love my friend. No matter how homophobic he can be, I still love him from the bottom of my heart. I HEART YOU ERIC!!!!
